Indication :
1.Nephrolithiasis (Kidney Stones)
•Prevents uric acid and cystine stone formation by alkalinizing urine.
•Reduces recurrence of calcium oxalate stones in patients with low urinary citrate (hypocitraturia).
2.Gout & Uric Acid Disorders
•Alkalinizes urine, improving uric acid solubility and reducing uric acid stone risk.
3.Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) with Metabolic Acidosis
•Corrects metabolic acidosis and prevents bone demineralization.
4.Renal Tubular Acidosis (RTA), especially Distal RTA (Type 1)
•Corrects metabolic acidosis and prevents nephrolithiasis/osteopenia.
5.Hypokalemia
•Serves as a potassium supplement in patients with low potassium (alternative to potassium chloride if alkalinization is desired).
Dose : 2 to 4 tablet per day
